This 5,000 s.f., six bedroom residence was designed for a family of six, with two major functions in mind: to house the parents and children in a comfortable, functional space and to provide an independent living area for the aging mother-in-law. The building was centered on an outdoor terrace with a uniquely-shaped pool and was separated into two wings on either side of a “bridge.” The downstairs wings hosted the public living spaces and the mother-in-law suite, while the upstairs wings separated the master suite and children’s bedrooms.
