This project consisted of renovating a 3,651 s.f dilapidated two-story building into a state-of-the-art high tech office for a marketing and technology solutions firm. The existing main entrance was obscure and somewhat disconnected from the street, making it a favorite hangout for homeless people. The solution called for creating a two-story glass atrium with a sloping north face for visual interest. A new covered canopy constructed of ribbed lexan wood trusses and concrete columns was designed to direct visitors from the street toward the new entrance.
